Leadership: Reinvent Your Team

Exclusive program for IPI members

Brand new boot camp for 2017!

Dan Mann created this new, custom program from IPI member requests! Last year he guided you through reinventing your retail experience. This year he’s coaching you through reinventing your team.

In 2017, become the leader you’ve always wanted to be. Learn how to coach, mentor, motivate and inspire your team into exceeding amazing individual and business-wide goals. Lead by example; and adhere to the adage, “Leaders Eat Last.”

Check out Dan’s new book, ORBiT, The Art and Science of Influence, which breaks down the steps of influencing change in adult behavior.

Well-known recruiter Jörgen Sundberg puts the cost of onboarding a team member at $240,000. And, according to the U.S. Department of Labor, the price of a bad hire is at least 30 percent of that team member’s first-year earnings. For a small company, a six-figure investment in the wrong person is a threat to the business.

Having the right team to work IN your business, allows you the opportunity to work ON your business. Owners and managers, discover your role in creating the perfect bench to grow your profitability.

Elements of Hiring

  • Who ARE we hiring vs. Who SHOULD we hire?
  • What motivates your team members?
  • What are the core competencies to look for in a team member?
  • Cost of a bad hire
  • Three categories to select your team

Selection Process:

  1. What is the right way to interview?
  2. An interview formula
  3. Interview techniques

Once you have hired the right team, how are you measuring and evaluating team member productivity? Everyday your team members are selling for you, but how do you measure their performance?  What are the metrics that tell you how they are doing in customer engagement?  How do you set goals to increase your business and get the buy in from each team member?

Leave prepared to set sales goals, measure team performance and gain momentum towards your vision.
